Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 June 2026
These terms govern your use of Pay2Book, a payment-first booking platform for service professionals. By creating an account or making a booking, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.
Who can use Pay2Book
You must be able to form a binding contract to use Pay2Book. An owner connects a calendar and offers paid sessions. A booker books and pays for a session. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity under your account.
What Pay2Book does
Pay2Book reads an owner's live calendar to show availability, takes payment from the booker, and confirms the session once payment clears, writing the booking to the owner's calendar and sending a confirmation. Pay2Book is the booking and payment facilitator. The service itself - the coaching call, lesson, consultation, or other session - is provided by the owner, not by Pay2Book.
Your calendar and email connection (owners)
By connecting your Google or Microsoft account you authorise Pay2Book to read your availability, write and update the booking events it manages, and send booking confirmations from your account, within the permissions described in the Privacy Policy. You can revoke this access at any time; doing so will stop new bookings from being taken.
Bookings, payments and the platform fee
Payments are processed by Stripe. A session is only held once payment has cleared. Owners set their own prices. On the Starter plan Pay2Book charges a platform fee of 2% per booking; on the Pro plan no per-booking platform fee applies. Stripe's own processing fees apply on every plan. The price shown to a booker at checkout is the price charged.
Cancellations and refunds
Refunds follow the owner's stated policy and are issued against verified Stripe records. Bookers can cancel eligible bookings through the secure link in their confirmation. A session that has already taken place cannot be cancelled; where appropriate the owner may still issue a refund. Pay2Book does not earn its platform fee on a refunded booking.
Subscriptions
The Pro plan is a recurring subscription billed monthly or annually through Stripe until cancelled. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues to the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Pay2Book to:
- break the law, or offer services that are illegal or fraudulent;
- interfere with, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its data;
- misrepresent who you are, or use another person's account or payment details; or
- abuse the calendar or email permissions granted to you, including sending spam.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or puts other users or the service at risk.
Owner responsibilities
Owners are responsible for delivering the sessions they sell, for the accuracy of their availability and pricing, for their own tax and legal obligations, and for any agreement with their bookers. Pay2Book is not a party to that agreement.
Availability of the service
We work to keep Pay2Book available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may perform maintenance that affects availability.
Disclaimers and liability
Pay2Book is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for the conduct of owners or bookers, for a session not being delivered, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will change the date above and, for material changes, give notice in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
